Each SPOTTERON project can be integrated in any website via iFrame HTML code, making the map and its spots available in every browser. The map integration, like the smartphone apps, is utilizing OpenStreetMap, benefiting from its high level of detail. Alternativ map services like Google Maps, etc. can also be integrated if desired.

Hashtag entities are posted by using the # symbol, followed by a text entry, which describes the contents and attributes of a spot. You can find hashtags on almost every social media plattform like facebook, tumblr and twitter and in smartphone apps like instagram - and also in SPOTTERON.
