Winners of Citizen Science Project Landauf, LandApp photo contest announced!

Wednesday, 14 August 2019 16:31

This spring, the Landesarchiv Baden-Württemberg, Germany, organized a photo contest through our Citizen Science App "Landauf, LandApp". Users were encouraged to go on a historical expedition and find out how the cities and their surroundings have changed in the last few decades.

The Landesarchiv provided around 200 historical photographs of different locations all over Baden-Württemberg. Users were asked to photograph the same spot from the same perspective, to create a spot with our app, and to describe how the place has changed to this day.
The response was huge! From over 85 entries, a few lucky winners were chosen to receive great prizes. Have a look at the awarded photographs in the Landesarchiv Baden-Württenmbergs blog here.
Congratulations to all the winners and thank you for taking part in this great project!
