Start of the upcoming Top Citizen Science Projekt "Naturkalender"

The Sparkling Science Projekt "NaturVerrückt" ("CrazyNature"), currently running on the SPOTTERON Citizen Science Platform, is going to be relaunched and extended in the next months. The new Top Citizen Science-Projektes „Naturkalender“ is all about Phenology and Citizen Scientists can observe the development of various plant species via Smartphone App for Science.

To increase participation, we will extend the featureset and app concept together with our partners ZAMG & LACON, who will also organize workshops and informational events in Austria. Additionally, new print material and instructions will be produced and as project partners we will extend the Citizen Science Apps with new features and functionalities, creating a social and interacitve platform for phenology observations. The project's name will change to "Naturkalender" ("Nature Calendar") durcing the relaunch.

The project is funded by Bundesministerium für Wissenschaft, Forschung und Wirtschaft.
