Cumberland Wildlife Park

The Cumberland Wildlife Park is located in upper Austria near Grünau im Almtal. The Almsee lake and the Cumberland Wildlife Park is embedded between the steep rocks on the northern edge of the Totes Gebirge.
The Wildlife Park became famous due to Konrad Lorenz work there and is home to many different animal species on 60 hectares of land. Endangered species like wild equids can be found there. Long hiking trails lead through the park with it's 70 different animal species and approximately 500 animals in total.
